To create our cards, we employed simple decision-making algorithms that enabled us to generate various extreme situations and potential actions.

Our behavioural algorithms provided on the cards are based on:

• real-life survival stories,

• scientific articles,

• educational websites about natural disasters, psychology, and animal behaviour.

We relied on trusted sources like National Geographic, WWF, and official emergency preparedness sites to ensure our cards are grounded in real, meaningful, and scientifically accurate information.

FiasCo board game is combined out of many popular games and easy to play.

We connected many popular games including “Mafia” into one fun, easy to play board game. The rules are very simple and easy to understand. That makes the game even better, you can just grab and play it, no need to read long, boring instructions!

Our characters are simple, but interesting personas based on:

• Real life characters,

• Common strengths and weaknesses.

Each character has distinct strengths and limitations, encouraging players to explore empathy, adaptability, and the consequences of their choices during gameplay.

Each round is a different experience

With 8 distinct roles (Boxer, Small Girl, Priest, Doctor, Angry Buyer, Mafia Boss, “You,” Old Lady) and ever-changing conditions (like “No signal” or “You are injured”), no two rounds feel the same—forcing players to adapt real advice (e.g., how to treat a burn, perform CPR, or seal off a room during fallout) for their character’s strengths and weaknesses.
